AUBURN, Ala. - On March 25, 2025, Auburn Police arrested Quendesmond Jamaad Kellum, age 32, from Opelika, Alabama, on a felony warrant charging him with willful abuse of a child.

The arrest stems from the Auburn Police Department receiving a report of child abuse on March 24, 2025. A complainant reported that an adult had abused a juvenile victim, under the age of 18, on March 24. The incident occurred near the 1500 block of North Donahue Drive.

Quendesmond Jamaad Kellum was developed as a suspect. During the investigation, evidence confirmed Kellum as the offender. Evidence also revealed Kellum’s interaction with the juvenile victim to be willful abuse and maltreatment.

An arrest warrant for willful abuse of a child was obtained and Kellum was arrested in obedience to the warrant on March 25. Kellum was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $10,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
